Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from Feb. 28 to March 5:

Feb. 28

• Burglary of a Vehicle was reported in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.

Feb. 29

• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

March 1

• Macy Martinez, 32, was arrested for warrants in the 4000 block of Twin City HighwayHHh.
• Deadly conduct was reported in the 6700 block of Howe.
• An assault was reported in the 4700 block of Martha Lane.

March 2

• No reports

March 3

• Lakavin Jenkins, 23, was arrested for evading arrest/detention using a vehicle or watercraft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 5000 block of KennethHHh.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 3800 block of Taft.
• An information report was filed at the 6200 block of Dave.

March 4

• An assault was reported in the 4500 block of Bellaire.
