Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from Jan. 10 to Jan. 16:

Jan. 10

• Daniel Mortera, 25, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.
• Justin Lilburn, 30, was arrested for public intoxication in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.
• A theft was reported in the 6400 block of Coolidge.

Jan. 11

• Possession of controlled substance report was filed at the 6400 block of Maddison.

Jan. 12

• Jose Fuentes Jr., 32, was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2^nd offense in the 6800 block of Procter Street.
• An evading arrest/detention using a vehicle or watercraft report was filed at the 3900 block of Twin City Highway.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of West Groves Circle.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 4700 block of Bellaire.
• A credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 3700 block of Grant.
• Forgery financial instrument was reported in the 2600 block of Nederland Avenue.

Jan. 13

• An information report was taken at the 6700 block of 39^th Street.

Jan. 14

• An assault was reported in the 6100 block of Coolidge.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 3000 block of Bryan.

Jan. 15

• Victor Pastrana Jr., 30, was arrested for warrants in the 2000 block of Taft.

Jan. 16

• Starlett West, 50, was arrested for warrants in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.
