VIDEO — Sheriff’s Office asking for help with string of auto burglaries and thefts

BEAUMONT — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in a series of auto burglaries and thefts, some of which was captured on security cameras.

In the early morning hours Monday. 8, these subjects were involved in a string of auto burglaries and auto thefts in the area of Major Drive from Highway 105 to Gladys Avenue in Beaumont, according to information from the Sheriff’s Office.

They appear to be slender males, dressed all in black and wearing masks.

The Sheriff’s Office released a Ring video taken at the Cypress Bend Village Apartments, 1450 N. Major Drive in Beaumont, at 4:12 a.m.

Authorities are asking anyone within the area of North Major Drive from Highway 105 to Gladys to check security cameras between midnight and 6 a.m. to see for videos of the suspects or their vehicles.
