Port Arthur man sentenced to 10 years probation for indecency with child charge

A Port Arthur man was sentenced to 10 years probation on a charge of indecency with a child and assessed a $1,000 fine.
Chad Deshawn Holmes, 23, made the guilty plea and was sentenced Tuesday in Judge Raquel West’s 252nd District Court, according to court personnel.
Holmes was arrested May 2 and served 253 days.
He bonded out Tuesday on a $1,000 bond, according to information from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
