Raul Rios spotlighted as Young Emerging Leaders standout

Raul Rios was born in Brownsville and raised in the Golden Triangle. He graduated from Port Neches – Groves High School in 2014 and obtained a double-bachelor bachelors in finance and economics from Lamar University in 2020.

Rios is a Young Emerging Leaders spotlight with the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce.

He worked at Chick-fil-A for five years and ultimately ended up as a manager. Here is where he learned many of the qualities and attributes that helped him develop.

Rios made the jump to Wells Fargo in 2018, where he started off as a bank teller. He currently works at the Groves branch and serves as the branch manager after being promoted in February.

He is passionate to help customers reach their financial goals while giving them the best customer service and experience possible.

Rios joined the Young Emerging Leaders in September of 2021 and currently holds a position on the board as the volunteer and membership coordinator. He was recognized with the “rising star” award for YEL in 2022. He cherishes the opportunity to give back to the communities that helped raise him through volunteerism and making an impact on others.

He also serves as a youth minister at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where he treasures being able to help and serve the next generation.

Rios enjoys playing tennis and is a sports fanatic (Arriba Las Aguilas Del America)! He loves spending time with his family, parents Raul and Sandra, and fiancé, Jessica.

He looks forward to helping further grow Young Emerging Leaders and shape the future leaders of our communities.
