PORT NECHES — The Mid-Jefferson County Retired School Personnel chapter of the Texas Retired Teachers Association is meeting next week.

The gathering is planned Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Port Neches-Groves ISD Board Room, 766 Magnolia in Port Neches.

Jason Arnold is speaking and will explain and demonstrate proper CPR and Heimlich techniques.

Chapter members can review scholarship procedures and volunteer opportunities.

Planning continues for the April’s TRTA State Convention in Corpus Christi.

All Teacher Retirement System annuitants are invited.
