The Texas Department of Transportation is alerting Port Arthur motorists to a lane closure planned Thursday.

The right lane of SH 73 westbound from U.S. 69 to 9th Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday due to construction.

Expect possible delays.

Also in Jefferson County, the inside lane of I-10 eastbound near Boyt Road will be closed from 3 to 5 a.m. Thursday due to bridge work.
