The Port of Port Arthur and Port Arthur International Seafarers’ Center hosted the gathering space and gave Santa a warm, beautifully decorated room in which to visit with local children.

Volunteers from the following organizations helped to ensure a safe, enjoyable event: Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce, Port Arthur Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Beaumont Knights on Bikes, Wilson Early College Maritime Club, National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Zinos and Kudos Port Arthur NAACP Youth.

The free event included hot chocolate courtesy of the CVB and The Port Arthur Noon Sertoma Club.

Chic-Fil-A brought their famous cow, who gave out warm cookies to the crowd.

HEB was there with 3,000 gift bags for children, and the County Extension Agency provided free arts and craft projects for children as they waited to see the train.
