The Port of Port Arthur is again helping host the CPKC Holiday Train.

It arrives at the Seafarer’s Center, 401 Houston Avenue, on Dec. 13, beginning at 4 p.m.

“The Port invites all our citizens, Port Arthur City employees and families to attend,” organizers said. “Last year, over 2,000 people toured the train to see Santa; we are blessed to have the train visit Port Arthur again. Improvements since last year should enhance the overall experience.”

This is a “great opportunity for a family with young kids or anyone who is a kid at heart,” Port of Port Arthur Director/CEO Larry Kelley said.

There will be youth activities, and the Port Arthur Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with Sertoma Club members, is providing hot chocolate.
