Nederland High School sophomore Brady Hailey has been playing golf for two years and earned a place on the golf team at school.

Hailey said his parents got him into playing the game and he stayed with it because it’s fun.

He feels good abut the upcoming season but believes he needs more practice.

Teacher Jessica Tullis nominated Hailey for Athlete of the Week.

“Brady has the best work ethic and attitude,” Tullis said. “He is intelligent and humble at the same time and is always engaged in assignments in my class.”
