National Weather Service outlines severe rain threat chances this week

The chilly weather we have been experiencing is coming to a close this week as widespread rain is expected, starting Wednesday night through Friday.

A low-pressure system will be moving through on Thursday and will raise Orange County and Southeast Texas chances for severe weather and heavy rain.
According to the National Weather Service, local residents should make sure to stay weather-aware and keep an eye on the forecast by checking weather.gov/lch throughout the week.
