Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from Nov. 8 to Nov. 21:

Nov. 8

• Theft by deception was reported in the 5400 block of West Groves Circle.

Nov. 9

• An assault was reported in the 5700 block of Carolina.
• A theft was reported in the 2100 block of Main Avenue.
• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic Road.

No. 10

• An informational report of theft by deception was taken in the 5000 block of Gulf.
• An assault was reported the 5500 block of Beaumont Avenue.
• Driving while intoxicated was reported in the 2300 block of Owens.
• Alejandro Manzo, 24, was arrested for public intoxication in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.

Nov. 11

• Francisco Mejias Marquez, 54, was arrested for criminal mischief in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.

Nov. 12

• Edson Chanchavac, 41, was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 3200 block of Taft Avenue.
• A theft was reported in the 6000 block of Monroe Avenue.

Nov. 13

• Debit/credit card abuse was reported in the 6600 block of Coolidge.

Nov. 14

• A theft was reported in the 2800 block of Oak.

Nov. 15

• Bryson Neel , 23, was arrested for other agency warrants at 32^nd Street and Taft.
• An officer assisted other agency in the 6800 block of East Parkway.

Nov. 16

• Alexander Griffin, 36, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and other agency warrants in the 4300 block of Taft.
• Ashley Theobald, 34, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 4300 block of Taft.

Nov. 17

• Richard Taylor Jr., 45, was arrested for warrants and fail to identify fugitive from justice in the 6500 block of Madison.
• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 6100 block of Carolina.
• An assault was reported in the 5100 block of Foster.

Nov. 18

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A theft was reported in the 3800 block of Main Avenue.
• An assault was reported in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.

Nov. 19

• Cristal Carman, 37, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3900 block of Twin City Highway.
• Lanie Ward, 31, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3000 block of Cooley.
• A theft was reported in the 4700 block of Twin City Highway.
• Duty on striking fixture/highway landscape was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

Nov. 20

• Brent Thrasher, 37, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 4700 block of Twin City Highway.
• A dog bite was reported in the 6500 block of Verde.

Nov. 21

• Glen Duncan III, 43, was arrested for interfere with public duties and resist arrest, search or transport in the 3000 block of Eugenia.
• John Poydence, 38, was arrested for failed to signal turn and operating an unauthorized vehicle on roadway in the 6600 block of 32^nd Street.
• An assault was reported in the 3000 block of Eugenia.
