Richard “Coyote” Pedraza Jr., age 94, passed away peacefully at home in Port Arthur, Texas on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
He was born September 10, 1929 in Port Arthur, Texas at St. Mary’s hospital to Ricardo Pedraza Sr. (father) & Refugio Lugo (mother).
He was an Army Veteran stationed in San Antonio, Texas.
He worked for Texaco Refinery for most of his life as a Welder & Outdoor Machinist, Retiring in 1988 with 42 years.
After Retirement he became a well-known Carpenter & Billiards Pool Shark down in Crystal Beach, Texas.
He was a Jack of all Trades & the King of Crown Molding.
He was an award winning Jitterbug Dancer.
His passions included good food & great music, spending time talking to friends over a cold beer or a little mix drink.
He truly had a larger than life personality & made an impact on everyone he met. He was a fighter & battled Leukemia the last 8 months of his life undergoing treatment at MD Anderson in Houston.
He is survived by his (wife) Connie of 70 years, His (daughters) Dee & Terry (son) Don & his wife Veronica. His (granddaughters) Coco & her husband Brent, Bailee & Abigail. His (grandsons) Ezekiel & his wife Ariana, Eli & his wife Darian, Ethan, Ezra, Emmanuel, Enan & Eshton. His (great grandchildren) Asher, Roman, Zeke Jr. & Amaris…
Family, Friends, & Others whose lives were touched by Richard are invited to attend the following services. Grammier-Oberle, Visitation & Rosary – Monday 20th from 5-9pm. Mass, Tuesday 21st at 11:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Burial after at Greenlawn.
