When Nederland High School student Kendall Dinh quit football and basketball, he began to look for another sport to play.

He found tennis.

Dinh, 17, has played singles and doubles tennis for two years now. This season he ended up 10-1 in singles and is hoping to place first in district this year in doubles, he said.

Coach Brett Nicholson said Dinh was a great addition to the team this past fall season.

“His dedication helped bring the team many victories throughout the season,” Nicholson said.

Looking toward the future, Dinh said he hopes to improve with the team and hopefully go far in district.
