Tuesday blood drive at Port Arthur YMCA includes free COVID-19 antibody test

LifeShare Blood Center will have a bus at the YMCA in Port Arthur from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The YMCA in Port Arthur is located at 6760 9th Avenue.
All donors will get a free test for the COVID-19 antibody and a free T-shirt.
LifeShare officials said many donors have asked for the testing to determine if they have had or were exposed to the COVID-19 virus, and LifeShare is happy to offer it as a “thank you” to encourage the community to give blood during this crisis.
Individuals do not need to know their blood type but will need a photo ID and a mask to enter the bus.
