Groves Police made the following arrests and responded to the following calls between June 17 and 23:

June 17

• Hector Castaneda, 18, was arrested for consumption of alcohol by minor in the 6000 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Skimming device was reported in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
• A theft was reported in the 2400 block of Post Oak.
• Freddie Thomas III, 26, was arrested for Groves warrants in the 3100 block of Taft Avenue.
• A theft was reported in the 6700 block of Gulfway Drive.

June 18

• Criminal mischief was reported the 3200 block of Canal.
• An assault was reported in the 6500 block of Terrell.
• Manuel Diaz, 40, was arrested in the 5500 block of West Washington for possession of a controlled substance and other agency warrants.

June 19

• A theft was reported in the 3000 block of Boyd.
• Credit/debit card abuse was reported in the 6800 block of Cambria.
• Jason Root, 39, was arrested for outside agency warrants in the 3800 block of Canal.

June 20

• Chella Solis, 30, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3700 block of Doyle.
• Michael Holly, 42, was arrested for Groves warrants in the 3400 block of Twin City Highway.
• A criminal trespass warning was issued in the 4200 block of Main.

June 21

• Clay Frederick, 39, was arrested for Groves warrants in the 5400 block of West Parkway.
• Hilary Newton, 32, was arrested for outside agency warrants in the 3100 block of East Parkway.
• A criminal trespass affidavit was issued in the 6900 block of Gulfway Drive.

June 22

• Oniel Brooks, 33, was arrested for Groves warrants in the 6300 block of Dave.
• Daman Stanford, 21, was arrested for robbery, injury to an elderly, assault, and other agency warrants in the 2900 block of First Avenue.

June 23

• Darrell Soularie, 39, was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest in the 5900 block of Monroe.
• Jeremiah Cook, 41, was arrested for Outside Agency Warrants in the 2600 block of East Parkway.
• A theft was reported in the 2900 block of Ruby.
• Credit/debit card abuse was reported in the 6800 block of 39^th Street.
