Frank J. Harris, 72, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at his home in Killeen, Texas.

He was born on December 27, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas to Anna Bell Ceaser and Thomas J. Harris.

He attended Lincoln High School. There he Perfected and Loved the game of Basketball, under the guidance of Coach Gamble.

Upon graduating High School Frank went on to Join the Army, where he served from 1966 to 1969, then 1973 to December 1990 when he Retired with 20 Years of Service.

While he served his country Frank received the Army Commendation Medal, Victory Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Overseas Ribbon.

After Military Retirement he went on to work for KISD, also retiring with 21 years of service.

There he met many friends, teachers, students, co-workers and still remained Friends with them after he retired.

Frank was preceded in death by his Mother Anna B. Ceaser; Aunts Octarial Hall and Retha Ceaser.

Frank is Survived by his Father Thomas J. Harris of Port Arthur, Texas, a WW2 Veteran serving 1942-1945; Brother Silas Channel of Port Arthur, Texas; Daughter Melvia D Rogers of Killeen, Texas; Three Grandchildren Darren Kinlaw, Reina Vories, Ashton Vories, all of Killeen, Texas Special Friends Principle Penny Batts, Ms. Thomas, Mrs. Phylllis, Tina and Mr. Harris.
