Therrin Dearial “Jolly” Juneau, known to many as “Coach,” was born in Galveston, TX on June 25, 1973.
On May 25, 2020, Therrin transitioned and went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Therrin was a graduate of the Lincoln High School class of 1991.
He attended Prairie View A&M University where he majored in Kinesiology and also played football.
He was an active member of the MU Gamma Delta PVU Football Family.
Therrin touched so many lives and was well known from Texas to California and beyond.
He never met a stranger and he had a strong passion for coaching and the youth.
At the time of his death, he was employed as an ISS Instructor at the Sugarland Middle School in Fort Bend ISD.
He was previously employed by the Port Arthur ISD and Tekoa Academy.
He also lived and worked in Los Angeles, CA for 14 years.
Therrin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Albert and Mae Drue Juneau and his paternal grandparents, Rev. Robert A. Lewis Sr. and Narva Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother Alma Faye Juneau, father Rev. Al Lewis (Pashion) of Birmingham, AL; aunts, Phyllis Branch who was a second mother to him, Beverly Vitatoe, both of Port Arthur, TX and Sherry Warren (Rev. Roy Lee) of Tyler, TX; one uncle, Rev. Samuel Juneau (Brenda) of Beaumont, TX; his beloved and special friend Tosha Carrier; his best friend Tharen Robertson (Tanya) of Port Arthur, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation is scheduled from 5 PM until 7 PM Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services and interment is scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2020 at Greenlawn Cemetery with
Apostle Glenn Alexander officiating.
