National Day of Prayer & Remembrance, peaceful protest planned in Port Arthur

The City of Port Arthur is hosting peaceful protest at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Port Arthur Pavilion.

Mayor Thurman Barite will speak about the peaceful protest during a news conference Monday in front of City Hall.

The news conference starts at 10:30 a.m. Monday to address the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance for the 104,000 people who have succumbed to COVID 19, which includes five residents of Mid-County and Port Arthur.
