PAPD asking for community tips, Crime Stoppers help after man shot, hospitalized

Port Arthur Police are seeking information about last week’s shooting that left a 26-year-old man in critical condition.
Det. Sadie Guedry said the victim, whose name is not being released, remains hospitalized.
Police received a 911 call at approximately 11:41 a.m. May 21 from Sindhu C. Store, 4149 32nd St. and found the victim in the area of the store with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Persons with information regarding this violent crime are asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 409-983-8624 or report a tip anonymously to Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS.
