Members of the Israel Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Port Arthur hosted a free grocery drive-thru Friday on the church’s campus.

Israel Chapel is the first and oldest black church in Port Arthur.

Kroger sponsored the drive-thru through the Texas Conference of the AME Church’s lay organization, and Israel Chapel gave away 47 bags of groceries.
