Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church announces baccalaureate service

Three graduates of the Port Arthur Theological Seminary will receive degrees during Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church’s Baccalaureate Sunday, scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday.
The church is located at 1337 E. 5th St. in Port Arthur.
Richard Keaton Nash is pastor.
I.C. Murrell, editor of The Port Arthur News, will serve as guest speaker. The theme of the service is: “Don’t ever stop learning and don’t ever retire from working and serving humanity with your talent and skills.”
Students being honored include Pastor Robert Earl Collins Sr., who will receive a bachelor of theology; Sis. Beverly Yvette McCall, associate’s degree in Christian education, and the Rev. Harry Abrams Jr., master of theology.
Solid Rock will practice social distance recommendations given by Gov. Greg Abbott in his Minimum Standard Health Protocols Checklist for Churches & Places of Worship.
