Hail, damaging winds & isolated tornadoes possible on Friday
Port Arthur and Mid-County face a slight chance for severe storms on Friday.
Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Warning Coordination Meteorologist Roger Erickson said storms will move into east Texas and central Louisiana late Friday morning, and be down to the I-10 corridor of southeast Texas, and southwest and south central Louisiana by Friday afternoon.
This weekend’s weather is expected to be cool and dry.
Next week will be dry until May 14.
