Mid-County, Port Arthur coronavirus cases remain the same

As of Sunday evening, health officials said cases of confirmed COVID-19 in Port Arthur and Mid-County are at 66.
According to the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center, there are 40 in Port Arthur, 13 in Nederland, seven in Groves and six in Port Neches. Those numbers remain the same since Friday evening.
Those who would like to be tested for COVID-19 can call 409-550-2536 for an appointment.
After testing, you will be required to self-isolate until test results have been returned.
The Call Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Testing is free for everyone, officials said.
