Ida Joyce Arisco, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
Joyce was born on May 12, 1931 in Colmesneil, Texas to parents Leslie (Wigley) and Bronson Cooper Smith.
She had lived in Port Neches, Port Arthur and Crystal Beach. Joyce was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and she retired from Butch Hoffer’s as a sales person and buyer.
She enjoyed working in her garden and loved cooking for family and friends.
Joyce was a loving person who will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Anthony “Sonny” Arisco, her brother, Vernon Smith, her sisters, Mildred Rotan, Sybil Knudsen and her sister in law, Dorothy Smith.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Kim Stelly and her husband, Buster, Kristy Reavis and her husband, Eugene, Konnie Matte and her husband, Ricky, her grandchildren, Ryan Stelly and his wife, Lacie and their child, Paisley, Blaine Matte and Kendra Dehm and their child, Elliott, Tracey Stelly and Jamey Phillips and her husband, Robbie.
She is also survived by her brother, Ray Smith, her sister, Wilma Cesak and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the Coronavirus-19, the family will have a private graveside service under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
