Four more cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Jefferson County

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 jumped from 27 to 31 based on information released Wednesday evening by the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center.
The Center summarizes activities and developments related to COVID-19 in Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange and Tyler counties:
The Call Center has received a total of 1,938 calls since opening March 20.
- 172 calls received today
- 927 have been referred for testing since the call center opened
- 82 were tested at the drive-through site Wednesday in Jefferson County
- 33 were tested at the drive-through site Wednesday in Hardin County
