Boosted by Don MacNeil’s eagle 2 with a sand wedge from 60 yards on the par 4 6th, the team of Keith Mullins, Larry Lee, Paul Duplantis and MacNeil won the front with minus 4 in the Monday Senior 50 Plus 2 ball at Babe Zaharias.

MacNeil narrowly missed scoring back-to-back eagles on par 4s. His 65-yard wedge on No. 5 stopped two inches from the hole.

On the back, the foursome of Jeff Lane, Rusty Hicks, Butch Cross and Richard Morales placed first with minus 4…

The Saturday Super Senior 2 ball at Zaharias saw the team of Price Youngs, Brian Mirabella, Jay Hampson and Keith Marshall take the front with minus 4. Minus 6 was the winning score on the back for the team of Ron Carlin, Rick Pritchett, Hicks and Stuart Ellis…

In the Friday 2 ball at Zaharias, the team of Bob West, MacNeil, Pritchett and Jeff Greenway scored a sweep. They were minus 6 on the front and minus 3 on the back…

The Wednesday Zaharias DogFight used an all-points-count format. Winning with 33 points was the team of Joe Gongora, Steve Wisenbaker, Robert Stansbury and ghost Larry Lee. Second with 30 points was the team of Thad Borne, Larry Johnson, John LeBlanc and Richard Menchaca.

Closest to the pin winners were Borne (No. 2, 5 feet), Hicks (No. 7, 2-9), Jimmy Cady (No. 12, 3-6) and Calvin Landry (No. 15, 3-5).
