Workers with the drainage department of the City of Port Arthur are working this week to dig out ditches to help improve drainage.
Work Tuesday took place throughout the neighborhood south of Memorial Boulevard near Texas 87.
Bertrand Wells chose to wear a facemask and gloves as a precaution while working. He says he wants to do what he can to protect his young children amid the outbreak of COVID-19.
