Mrs. Offie Annette Landry, of Port Arthur, departed this life on Saturday night, March 7th, 2020, at the Tuscany Village Skilled Nursing Home in Pearland, Texas, surrounded by family.

Offie was a native of Port Arthur, where she lived for all of her 74 years.

She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Lamar University.

She retired from Franklin Elementary, where she served as a Teacher’s Aide.

Offie was a Member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was President of her Opti Ms. Bridge Club for over 15
years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ocie Mae Harris; father, Aaron Lewis Brown, Sr.; brother, Aaron Lewis Brown, Jr.; and husband of 49 years, Clifford Landry, Sr.

Left to treasure her memory: son, Cliff Landry of Manvel, Texas; sister, Doisey Landry of Phoenix, Arizona (John E. Landry); granddaughters, Kera Shavonne Payton of Port Arthur, Texas; Karli Alece Landry of San Antonio, Texas; great grandson, Chase Roy of Port Arthur, Texas; nephews John D. Landry of Phoenix, Arizona (Michelle); Sean Brown of Golden Valley, Minnesota (Solveigh); sister-in-law, Reatha Brown of Golden Valley, Minnesota; niece, Terri Potter of Greenville, South Carolina (Ken); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Offie was a loving wife of 49 years, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, family member, and a faithful follower of Christ.

She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

A visitation is scheduled from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church, 3920 W. Cardinal Drive, Beaumont, TX. 77705.

Funeral Service to follow, with Dr. John John R. Adolph, presiding.

Entombment will follow Funeral Service, at the Live Oak Cemetery, 12563 W. Port Arthur Road, Beaumont, Texas  77705.
