Joyce Marie Green Dumes, 72 of Port Arthur, TX was born June 4, 1947 to the late Gilbert & Helen Green, Sr.

She passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020.

A lifelong native of Port Arthur, Joyce graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School “Class of 1965”.

To cherish Joyce’s precious memories is one daughter Felicia Ransom (Marvin Sr.); one son Marvin Dumes (Tara) of Cypress, TX; longtime companion Frank Taylor; one sister Helen Blue (Leroy); three brothers, Gilbert Green, Jr. (Bessie), Lionell Green (Shirley), and Larry Green (Norma).

She also had seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Sixth Street Baptist Church, 548 Abe Lincoln Ave., Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
