NEDERLAND — Family, friends and supporters joined Janna Bartz on Monday morning as she celebrated the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of her coffee shop, The Golden Cup.
The cafe is located in the recently renovated Charm + Co. boutique at 1336 Boston Ave. in Nederland.
Bartz worked in the industry for several years before taking the leap to open her own business. When she heard about Charm + Co. owner Andrea Bryan’s desire to add a coffee shop, the move seemed natural.
Bartz said the help of her parents, Susan and Jonathan, as well as friends led to the venture’s quick turnaround.
The Golden Cup is open from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
