BEAUMONT — A Fannett man missing since December was located Wednesday morning in Beaumont, authorities said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance Tuesday in locating 62-year-old Kenneth Lee Wilson, who was last seen Dec. 23 near Craigen Road and Highway 124 (Fannett Road).

A release from the Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning said Wilson was located in Beaumont.

“Thanks to several citizens who notified the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were able to confirm that he is safe and healthy,” the release said. “A big thanks to everyone who assisted.”

Police has said Wilson was last seen riding a bicycle.
