NEDERLAND — Home Furniture Plus Bedding hosted this week’s networking coffee event, which is put on regularly by the Nederland Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau.
The business, which began in Lake Charles, La., is approximately 75 years old and family owned.
The enterprise has grown to include eight stores, including the Nederland location at 2230 Highway 365. Store manager Bill Gragg said each store is fueled by the company’s 400,000-square feet warehouse, which allows next-day delivery of any item ordered by local customers.
Today, Home Furniture employs more than 250 people company-wide and routinely ranks as a top national provider by industry analysts.
