A 22-year-old has been arrested, charged with murder three months after a 23-year-old was killed at the Avery Trace Apartments.

Port Arthur Police Det. Michael Hebert said his office secured the arrest warrant for Kylan Deion Bazile on Tuesday.

According to Hebert, PAPD investigators, U.S. Marshals and Jefferson County warrant officers tracked Bazile to a Beaumont apartment complex, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Bazile was taken to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where he is being held on a $500,000 bond.
