PAPD: Man who stole dozens of knives Dec. 18 wanted

A suspect, covered head-to-toe in clothing designed to hide his identity, is wanted by Port Arthur Police for a brazen local business robbery.

“We need the public’s help identifying the male in this security video. We understand that the video is of poor quality and the suspect is mostly covered,” a statement on the Port Arthur Police Facebook page states.

Police said the assailant committed the theft Dec. 18 at approximately 11:12 a.m.

Authorities said the robber, who police insist is a male, entered the business and took a display case that held various knives.

“There was a second actor holding the door as well,” according to the PAPD. “If you have any information on the identity of the male suspect, please call 409-983-8644.”
