Rogers “Moon” Lee, 82, of Port Arthur, Texas, peacefully departed this life on December 10, 2019.

Moon was born on February 14, 1937 in New Iberia, Louisiana but had been a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas.

Moon was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Maurice  Sinegal (Lucy) of Port Arthur, Texas; three daughters, Kathy Jones of New Iberia, Louisiana, Lillian Lee and Zykiah Guidry of Port Arthur, Texas; one sister, Wanda Mae Hypolite of New Iberia, Louisiana; four grandsons, Jamon Lee, Maurice Sinegal, Jr., Ayden and King Guidry of Port Arthur, Texas; four granddaughters, Anasha Butler (Roderick), MarJuana Williams (Alfred), Martina Clay (Patterson) of Nederland, Texas, and Marniya Sinegal of Port Arthur, Texas; one special niece, Saundra Oliver of Port Arthur, Texas; twelve great grandchildren of Nederland, Texas and three great-grandchildren of New Iberia, Louisiana; a host of family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for  11 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Eastern Star Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until service time.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
