Kenneth Charles Shields, 64, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at home.

A lifelong resident of Port Arthur, he was employed by Bechtel Construction and attended Promise Land Ministries.

Kenneth was a 1974 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Shields; children, Shawna Williams and Lindsey Shields, all of Port Arthur, TX and Kenneth Shields, Jr. of Spring, TX; three sisters, Audrey Veazie of Houston, TX, Lois Shields and Pearl Goss of Port Arthur, TX: four brothers, Paul Shields and Fareed Salaam (Amina) of Houston, TX, Kerney Shields of Port Arthur, TX and Roderick Shields of Baytown, TX; two grandchildren; mother-in-law, Matilda Mayfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 12 noon until service time.
