On October 12, 1944, in Washington, Louisiana, God blessed proud and loving parents, Narcisse Kennerson and Rita Carrier Kennerson with a precious baby boy.

They lovingly named him Herbert Paul Kennerson also known as “Coon.”

On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, Herbert traded his earthly life for his peaceful resting place.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Etienne Kennerson, Larry Kennerson, sisters Laura Belle Kennerson, Joyce Soloman and twins Alena and Halena Kennerson.

He leaves to cherish his memories five siblings. Eugene, Vincent, Russell, James and Matthew; a host of nieces, nephews, and other devoted relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur, Texas with a visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
