Lena Mae Trainer, 91 was born on October 10, 1928 to Rev. Oather and Leola Trainer in Port Arthur, TX.

She made her transition to the Lord on November 11, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.

Lena was a Life Member of New Light Baptist Church and East Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a member of the Naomi Chapter #26 and Norris Wright Cuney Grand Chapter Order of Eastern Stars.

Lena was a TRUE Matriarch of the Family with her Love and Care for others, rearing within the family and afar!

Lena is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Leola Trainer; her brother, the Rev. Arthur Trainer, Sr. (Brenda); her sisters, Martha Childs, Gretha Oville, and Barbara Trainer.

Lena Mae Trainer is survived by her sister, Shirley Jones; Aunt, Thelma Small; son, George J. Boutte, Jr. (Denise); her daughters, Glenda and Linda Trainer; 6 Grandchildren; a host of Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, Family, Friends, and extended family John Salem, Betty Staton (Perry), Glenda Bayard, and Glenn Salem.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the East Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 800 Thomas Blvd., Port Arthur, TX.

Viewing will be held from 9-11 am and Service Time at 11 am. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
