Groves police responded to the following calls from Oct. 16 to Oct. 22.

Calls:

Oct. 16

  • A 47-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespassing in the 5000 Monroe after a call in reference to an unwanted subject on the premises.
  • A 26-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 5100 block of West Parkway after a call in reference to a possibly intoxicated person lying in the ditch.
  • A vehicle was a hit and run in the 5200 block of Lincoln.
  • Theft of a gray Huff Cruiser bicycle was reported in the 6500 block of Madison.
  • A dog was reported running at large in the 2800 block of Bryan.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants at Main Avenue and 25th Street during a traffic stop.
  • Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 5000 block of Monroe.

Oct. 17

  • A 25-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 5000 block of Bay after a traffic stop.
  • A 32-year-old woman was arrested for outstanding warrants at corner of Berry and 32nd Street after a traffic stop.
  • Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported to the police station at 4201 Main Avenue.
  • A 35-year-old man was arrested in the 6100 block of 39th Street for outstanding warrants after a traffic stop.
  • A 33-year-old nan was arrested at South and Main for outstanding warrants after a traffic stop.

Oct. 18

  • A 34-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and outstanding warrants in the 6900 block of Taft after a traffic stop.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 5300 block of 39th Street after a traffic stop.
  • A 19-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 3700 block of Pure Atlantic Road after a traffics stop.

Oct. 19

  • A 39-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3300 block of Pure Atlantic Road after a traffic stop.
  • A 33-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants, theft, and a criminal trespass warning was issued in the 6800 block of Terrell.
  • A 20-year-old woman was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 2700 block of Berry after a call from bondsman wanting to serve a warrant.
  • A 45-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3900 block of Atlantic Street after a traffic stop.

Oct. 20

  • Theft of a handgun and jewelry was reported in the 2600 block of First Avenue.

Oct. 21

  • A 60-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 6000 block of Terrell after a traffic stop.
  • An informational report was processed.

Oct. 22

  • Theft was reported in the 6000 block of 39th Street and a criminal trespass warning was issued.
  • Stored/abandoned vehicle was reported in the 6300 block of 25th Street, the vehicle was parked in the roadway in the right lane of travel.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 2500 block of Main Avenue after a traffic stop was conducted.
  • Men’s clothing valued at around $140, and approximately $250 cash was reported taken from a black 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 without the owner’s consent in the 6100 block of 25th Street.
