Jefferson County indictments for the week of 9-14-19

BEAUMONT— A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following people this week:
- Joshua Adam Hailey, 35, of LaBelle, was indicted for terroristic threat against a peace officer for an incident that occurred June 29.
- Ronald Aucoin Jr., 38, of Beaumont was indicted for family violence/choking for an incident that occurred Aug. 17
- Unique Lashay Banks, 27, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated assault-family violence for an incident that occurred Aug. 20.
- Maurice Ernest Berry III, also known as Maurice E. Berry III, Maurice Ernest Berry, Maurice Berry, 49, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated assault-family violence for an incident that occurred Aug. 7.
- John Gloston Joseph, 68, of Beaumont was indicted for assault-family violence/choking for an incident that occurred Aug. 21.
- Tonya Melissa Davis, also known as Tonya Melissa Corral, Tonya Terrier Corral, and Tonya Terrier Hinson, 39, of Port Arthur was indicted for burglary of a habitation for an incident that occurred July 30.
- Antonio Gabriel Rodriguez, also known as Antonio Gavriel Rodriguez, 34, of Port Arthur was indicted for burglary of a habitation for an incident that occurred Aug. 1.
- Jacoby Termon Robinson, 23, of Port Arthur was indicted for criminal mischief, a state jail felony, for an incident that occurred July 30.
- Joseph Franklin Postula, 49, of Port Arthur was indicted for felony driving while intoxicated for an incident that occurred July 21.
- Christopher Como, 17, of Port Arthur was indicted for felony theft of a firearm for an incident that occurred July 14.
- Brenden Shields, also known as Brenden Mikel Shields, 18, of Port Arthur was indicted for felony theft of a firearm for an incident that occurred July 14.
- Gregory Lakeith Renfro, 37, of Silsbee was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred April 11.
- Derrick Keith Shepheard, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred June 27.
- Jack Davis Thomas, 53, of Port Arthur was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred April 19.
- Ronald G. Weems, also known as Ronald Glenn Weems, Ronald Glen Weems and Ronald Weems, 58, transient, was indicted for evading arrest/detention with previous convictions for an incident that occurred April 19.
- Jermaine Lee Morris, 38, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Feb. 1.
- Micah Sean Ross, 39, of Groves, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, in a drug free zone for an incident that occurred Feb. 22.
- Quentin Laine Trahan, 19, of Winnie was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Feb. 19, 2018.
- Dean Allen Daugherty, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred July 26.
- Roland Dwain Courville Jr., 42, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Feb. 8.
An indictment is not a final conviction of guilt; it is only a ruling by the grand jury that allows the district attorney’s office to proceed with a criminal case.
