Port Arthur police early Monday arrested a suspect in a home invasion burglary that occurred at a residence.

Police said in an issued statement that two suspects entered a home at 901 Main Ave. around 1:14 a.m. One suspect fled when the victim called police; a guest at the home detained the second suspect.

The suspect was taken into custody and transported to Jefferson County Correctional Facility, police said. The Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case.
