James L. Holland, 68, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Senior Rehab.
James was born May 28, 1951 in Beaumont, Texas to Edward Holland and Maybelle Barrilleau Holland. He was a lifelong area resident.
James retired from IUOE Local 450 after 40 years of service, he was a 16 year member of the San Jacinto High Roller Motorcycle Club.
James proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sandra Holland of Port Arthur; sons, James Holland, Jr. and wife Hillary of Denton, Michael Holland and wife Stephanie of Nebraska; sisters, Ruby Westbrook and husband Milton of Mauriceville, Kathy Means and husband Larry of Mauriceville, and Roxie Little; brothers, Tommy Holland and wife Mary of Wildwood, and Jimmy Holland of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Tony, Riley, Reese, and Gunner; two great-grandsons; best friend for 58 years, Bobby Halbert and wife Cathy of Center; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Holland; sisters, Earline May, and Cherrel Freeman.
A visitation for family and friends will Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
