The Program of Health Excellence Inc. is accepting applications for registration for the nurse aide class from 1–5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the facility, 2700 Gulfway Drive.

Funding assistance is available for qualified Port Arthur residents, and with proof of low income the registration fee will be reduced.

You must present two valid identifications; one must be your social security and/or your driver’s license and other ID’s for low income such as food stamps, Aid to Families with Dependent Children or others.

Applicants must have proof of a high school diploma or general educational development certificate and must have a tuberculosis skin test.
