PAPD arrests local man for robbing Stacy Market

A 23-year-old Port Arthur man is charged with a Friday afternoon store robbery at Stacy Market, 3248 Gulfway Drive.

Port Arthur police were called at 3:39 p.m. Friday to the store, located at the corner of Gulfway Drive and Fifth Avenue, for a disturbance. That’s when they learned one of the parties involved had robbed the store, according to a news release from the Port Arthur Police Department.

The man, whose name was not given in a news release, was found at his home a short time later and arrested.
