Wendell Paul Ajani, 59, of Port Arthur died Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at his home.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a former PAISD employee.

He was a 1978 graduate of Lincoln High School.

A visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 with funeral service beginning at 11:00 at First Sixth Street Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his father Lionel Paul.  Survivors include his mother Willa Dugas; a daughter Jazmine Paul; granddaughter Nooriel Underwood (Monmouth Junction, New Jersey); sister Ida Dupree (Hermionn Ratcliff) of Houston, Texas; nieces, Brittany Paul and Ashlyn Dupree
of Houston, Texas.
