Darla Carter was born in Port Arthur, TX in the summer of 1961.

Throughout her life she developed a love for dancing, cooking, cleaning and painting.

Easter was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed making elaborate Easter baskets for everyone in the family.

She loved everyone in her family deeply and one of the greatest joys in her life was becoming a grandmother.

Darla is survived by her two sons; Allen VanDerdoes & wife Christina of Lumberton, TX and Chris Breaux of Beaumont, TX; two sisters Dana Rozas of Port Neches, TX and Aaran Walker & husband Byron of Groves, TX; two grandsons Logan & Mickey VanDerdoes; and many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter and nephew.

She will live on in our hearts and forever be missed.
