Port Arthur police are searching for a man who broke into a woman’s apartment Sunday night and robbed her at gunpoint.

Police responded around 9:35 p.m. to Rampart Apartments, 1724 Village East Blvd., where a woman told officers a man had forced his way into her residence, displayed a handgun and demanded property.

He then fled on foot.

There were no reported injuries in the robbery.

The Port Arthur Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating this incident.
