A woman hid in a bathroom while a man was held at gunpoint during a home invasion late Monday night.
Port Arthur police received the 911 call of a robbery in progress around 10:52 p.m. at Turtle Creek Apartments, 3500 Turtle Creek Drive.
The male victim was held at gunpoint while the suspects removed property from the residence and a female tenant hid in the bathroom, according to a news release from Port Arthur Police Department.
The suspects attempted to flee when officers arrived and after a short foot chase, one of the suspects was arrested. Another suspect tried to leave in a vehicle but was stopped and arrested.
A third suspect found in the apartment was arrested.
PAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division was handling the case this morning.
This is the second home invasion in two days in Port Arthur. On Sunday night, a man forced his way into a residence at Rampart Apartments, 1724 Village East Blvd., displayed a handgun and demanded property before fleeing on foot.
