Iowa fansite HawkeyeNation.com revealed an “All-Kirk Ferentz Team” to commemorate Ferentz’s 20 years as the Hawkeyes’ head coach, and a Port Arthur product made the list as a first-team selection.

Jonathan Babineaux

Lincoln High School graduate Jonathan Babineaux, who played at Iowa from 2000-04, and Collin Cole (1999-2002) were listed as first-team defensive tackles.

Babineaux totaled 131 tackles including 19 sacks and intercepted a pass for the Hawkeyes, who won shares of two Big Ten championships and won three bowl games during his stay. He was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Falcons in 2005 and spent 12 seasons with the team, his last game being Super Bowl 51 in February 2017 in Houston.
